This is an intro level course for hand-building techniques. We will not be using the potter’s wheel.
We will be exploring Kurinuki, Soft Slab, Hard Slab, and Darting. Projects include chawan, vase, bowl, jar and platter with plenty of room for improvisation!
Some additional tools and materials are required, but many can be found in your kitchen or garage. We’ll talk about tools a lot, don’t worry! You won’t need to bring any tools for the first class.
Thursdays from 7-9pm from January 8 to February 12
Price includes a $20 materials fee.
